Getting your work out there.
Thank you for considering Radix Media to publish your work! Please read our submission guidelines before sending your work to us. If you need clarity on something listed here, or if you have a question about something that is not listed here, you can always ask us directly.
We regret that we cannot consider projects that do not follow the submission guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
We are currently accepting manuscripts for Full-Length Poetry, Chapbooks, Novellas, and Visual Narratives, and manuscript excerpts for Novels, Essay Collections, and Memoirs. We especially love stories that intersect with progressive/radical politics and social justice. We are open to unagented as well as agented authors. For more information on how to query, see the info below.
Simultaneous vs. Multiple Submissions
We will not accept multiple submissions from any one person, unless otherwise noted in open calls for submission. So please send one manuscript at a time. We are also generally looking for unpublished work, unless otherwise noted in open calls for submission. It is assumed that your work is simultaneously being submitted to other publishers, so no need to disclose this, but please notify us immediately to withdraw it from consideration should the story be accepted elsewhere.
Please submit a cover letter with your submission. Tell us what brings you to Radix Media and why you think your work would be a good fit. Be sure to look at our other titles and see how your work compares. Include any previous publications or prizes won, a brief biographical statement, preferred pronouns, and links to your website and social media handles. Submissions without a cover letter will not be considered.
Please include a brief pitch letter that gives us a synopsis of your work and the central conflict and themes. Feel free to use this space to talk about styles used, comparable titles and authors, and the works that inspire your voice.
- We prefer typed, double-spaced pages
- Numbered pages
- Include a title page, table of contents page, and an acknowledgments page.
- Please attach your submission as a .DOCX file. No .DOC or .PDF files.
- For Poetry, chapbooks, novellas, short story, visual narrative: Include full manuscript.
- For novels, memoirs, and essay collections: submit 50 pages.
