Description
“Assimilation” is a poem by writer Alison McBain, featured in our anthology, AFTERMATH: Explorations of Loss & Grief. It’s a beautiful poem that speaks to the immigrant experience, and while the words are especially relevant now, they are in fact timeless.
The print is 12.25″ x 18.5″ and was letterpress printed in multiple passes on our vintage Vandercook proofing press. This item makes a wonderful companion to the book.
Also check out the contributor profile we did of the author here. If you’re into literary hand-set letterpress posters, check out our Rise Like Lions poster, featuring the final stanza of the famous poem “The Masque of Anarchy” by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
